Σαν σήμερα, 18 Οκτωβρίου 1992, πριν
από 27 χρόνια, στο
πλαίσιο της 3ης αγωνιστικής η ομάδα μας αντιμετωπίζει στο Τσίρειο στάδιο
τον Ολυμπιακό.
Ήταν η μέρα που συστήθηκε στη
δυτική και στους απανταχού ποδοσφαιρόφιλους ο Σλάτζιαν Τσέποβιτς ένας
ποδοσφαιριστής ο οποίος με τη φανέλα του Απόλλωνα για 4 χρόνια θα καταξιωνόταν ως ένας από τους
καλύτερους κεντρικούς επιθετικούς που πάτησαν ποτέ το πόδι τους στην Κύπρο!
Εκείνη την μέρα κόντρα στον
Ολυμπιακό τα έκανε όλα! Κέρδισε ένα πέναλτι σκόραρε δύο φορές είχε ένα δοκάρι ενώ
με τις ζογκλερικές ενέργειες του ξεσήκωσε ουκ ολίγες φορές τους οπαδούς μας στη
δυτική.
Ο αγώνας με τον Ολυμπιακό ήταν μόνο η αρχή ενός ποδοσφαιριστή που για 4 χρόνια θα τρελάνει τη δυτική με τις τρελές εμπνεύσεις και τα απίστευτα γκολ του με το σύνθημα «ου α Τσέποβιτς» να γίνεται τραγούδι στα χείλη των οπαδών μας δονώντας την ατμόσφαιρα!
