Το ρεκόρ νικών της ομάδας μας από την έναρξη του πρωταθλήματος είναι 4 σερί νίκες κάτι που συνέβηκε τις περιόδους 1997/98 και 2003/04.
Εντούτοις, μια και μοναδική φορά η ομάδα μας ξεκίνησε το πρωτάθλημα με τρεις σερί νίκες!
Αυτό συνέβηκε την περίοδο 2005/06, τελευταία φορά που πανηγυρίσαμε την κατάκτηση του πρωταθλήματος, όταν κερδίσαμε Θόι Λακατάμιας με 4-0, τον Ολυμπιακό με 3-2 και τον ΑΠΟΠ Κινύρα με 4-0!
Την επόμενη αγωνιστική την περίοδο εκείνη εκστρατεύσαμε στο ΓΣΠ, κάτι που θα κάνουμε και φέτος, όπου αντιμετωπίσαμε το ΑΠΟΕΛ σε εκείνο τον αγώνα που έλαμψε το άστρο του διαιτητή κ Κώστα Θεοδότου όταν μας υποχρέωσε σε ισοπαλία 2-2 στην εκπνοή του αγώνα σφυρίζοντας ανύπαρκτο πέναλτι εκτός περιοχής!
Ας ελπίσουμε οι τρεις φετινές σερί νίκες να είναι ένα θετικός οιωνός και προμήνυμα για να έχει η φετινή χρονιά την ίδια κατάληξη με την περίοδο 2005/06!
