Παρόμοιο σκηνικό όπως αυτό που συνέβη στον τελικό Κυπέλλου του 1986 καλείται να αντιμετωπίσει η ομάδα μας στο φετινό τελικό.
Θυμίζουμε ότι το 1986 αντιμετωπίσαμε στον τελικό Κυπέλλου τον πρωταθλητή ΑΠΟΕΛ ο οποίος με την κατάκτηση του κυπέλλου πάνω στην ομάδα μας φιλοδοξούσε να κατακτήσει το νταμπλ όμως τελικά έμεινε με δύο χείλη καμένα αφού τον κερδίσαμε με 2-0 με γκολ των Ανδρέα Σωκράτους και Ντέιβιντ Κέννι! Ας ελπίσουμε το ίδιο σκηνικό να επαναληφθεί και στις 24 Μαίου αυτή τη φορά μέσα στο δικό του «σπίτι»!
